Development plans on the vacant land near Yourspace hostel.

Description 

Our project focuses on the area near your space hostel. As a resident we've been curious about the vacant land nearby. Despite its rural look, with no residential buildings, stores , street lights nearby The area seems like it will be developed in the upcoming years. The land is mostly fenced off, showing ownership, but it's not being used for farming or anything else. Our research aim is to discover future development plans for the area and understand why it's not currently used for farming, by exploring its past and future.

Well, as you stroll past the Your Space hostel, you can't help but notice the fenced-off land adjacent to it. Its unused nature raises questions about its purpose and capability. Surprisingly, this land is not utilized for farming or any other activities. It stands simply as an open space with nothing going on.

Research Methodology:

To shed light on this paradox, we begin a mission to gather insights from various perspectives. We engaged in visually documented interviews with the residents living near the Yourspace hostel, the guards and watchmen, the staff from the Yourspace hostel, as well as our fellow students who call this place their home.

Findings:

Through our interviews, a fusion of perspectives emerged. The residents expressed their hopes for a vibrant community hub, envisioning spaces, shops, and amenities that would enhance their quality of life. The guards and watchmen shared their views of potential plans for commercial development pointing to a possibility of a bustling center in the future.

As the hostel lies near the Sanskardham Sports Academy, according to the guards at Global Mission school, there should be a playground built for the children and students for spending their leisure time. The staff from the Yourspace space hostel revealed that discussions were regarding expanding their facilities to accommodate more visitors and create an inclusive space for collaboration. Our fellow students added their voices, dreaming of a place where they could connect with nature along with few basic essential facilities like a hospital, groceries, fulfilling the demands along with academic life.

Time needed:

So, according to the people we  interviewed, they believe it would take around 2-3 years for the development of the vacant land near your space hostel. Well, the development timelines can vary depending on various factors such as planning, permits, funding, and construction processes. These estimations are based on the opinions and perspectives of the individuals we interviewed. Actual timelines for development projects can be influenced by a range of factors and may differ from initial expectations. However, it's always exciting to anticipate the future possibilities for the land and look forward to the positive changes it may bring to our community.

Analysis:

As we analysed the findings, several factors came into play. The rapid urbanization trends in the area, paired with the increasing demand for infrastructure and services, suggest that the vacant land may soon undergo transformation. The ownership of the land, as indicated by the fences, signifies an intention to preserve it for future development. Zoning regulations and the need for careful planning further explain why it remains untouched for now.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, the vacant land near our space hostel holds immense potential for the future. Our research has discovered the aspirations. We are really look forward to see this vacant space turning into a bustling one.
